AND YOU PRAY

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.
Isaiah 66:13

I think as a parent the hardest thing we go through is when our children are not saved and when our children hurt.

The grievance you feel when your child has been hurt by a circumstance or by someone can be gut-wrenching. You watch your child crumble before you and nothing you can say or do helps.
And you pray....

She looks at her life and asks why, what did I do to deserve this? She says, "I really tried mom and still I get hurt?" Nothing you can say or do helps
And you pray....

She looks ahead and says what am I going to do with my life now. I just do not see much of a future ahead, what I thought my life would be, is no more. Nothing you can say or do helps
And you pray......

You cry along with her, you embrace her in your arms and let her know she will never be alone. You tell her she has her family that will be there for her but most of all
if she knows the greatest comforter as her Savior she will never be alone.
and you pray.....

You pray that she does know the Lord or that He draws her to Himself. My dear sweet daughter Denise is going through such a trial in her life and I am asking if you could please pray for her.

Oh Lord God, I ask that You take this situation and turn it to your glory. I ask that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be magnified, glorified and amplified in this present darkness that Cristina, James and Denise are going through.

Amen.

I'll add her to my prayer list.

I know what you're saying here about the gut wrenching feelings of a mama. I went through something very difficult with my 20 year old last year. I cried more than I've ever cried in my life, but real peace came after I totally gave it over to God. Much time in prayer was the major part of the whole journey.

Wow Cris. Heart wrenching. May the Lord draw her to Himself....and may you know His comfort during this trial. Its got to be SO hard, but HE is the God of all comfort. This too, is in His hands...and it takes walking and holding onto His hand very tightly while we *feel* like we're wandering in the dark.
