THERE IS SO MUCH WORK TO BE DONE!

The renewal of our natures is a work of great importance. It is not to be done in a day. We have not only a new house to build up, but an old one to pull down. George Whitefield

Amen! Thank God that He has promise to finish the work He began in us!

I guess I disagree with George Whitfield on this one dear. You quote:

God has given us a new nature and the old nature died. Man does not have two natures. He is either a Saint or a sinner. My old nature doesn't need pulling down. It died on Calvary cross.

But I do enjoy your blog. See you for supper tonight

My dear Husband,
I guess the way I read it was that even though we are a new creature, we still live in the flesh and there are sins that we still struggle in that we struggled before we we saved and still have to conquer. But I do understand what you mean.

Thank you for your insight

Hi Pam,
Your welcome. My husband and I talked about it later and I can also see what he was trying to say.

Whatever you want to call it, it is the enemy of God and must be reckoned dead daily.
