Could I please ask for prayer for my dad. He has shingles and he is in a lot of pain. It is right around his chest and It pains me to see him suffer so much. He is always a jolly man and not to hear that in his voice hurts very much.

Shingles is very painful. He might feel better if he gets some pain meds from his doctor. Every patient that I take care of who has shingles needs pain meds. He doesn't have to suffer so much. I will keep him in my prayers.
May the Lord touch and comfort him. May he come to faith in Christ.
My friend has it and has had a lo of pain. I will say a prayer for your dad as soon as I finish this comment and that you will be a comfort to him. May this soon pass.

Thank you all for your prayers. The doctor gave my dad a stronger dose of pain killers yesterday. He said it felt a bit better today. U just hope it's on the mend and that he doesn't get use to taking the painkiller to much. He sure is not easy getting old is it?

Thank you and it is so hard
watching them suffer. I know I will loose them one day and that is something I do not look forward to. They have been such wonderful parents. My main prayer is that they come to know the Lord, I am not 1005 sure they do.
