AMAZING GRACE

I sought the Lord, and afterward I knew
He moved my soul to seek Him, seeking me
it was not I that found, O Saviour true;
No, I was found of Thee

God's people fail a hundred times
Before each day is done.
But Grace, in whispers, lifts them up ˜
One hundred times and one.
William D. Blake

When I go home to be in the presence of my Lord, I want this song to be played at my funeral. This is the one song that I love most, Amazing Grace is how I look at my salvation. This wretched old soul did not deserved His mercy and yet He saved me anyway. Amazing Grace How sweet the sound I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

My chains are gone.....I've been set free...
My God,My Savior has ransomed me...

Sarah,
There is nothing like old hymns, most are biblical. Today, I dare to say most arn't.

Amazing Grace has always been a blessing to me where my salvation is concerned but now that I've been going through what I've been going through with my youngest daughter and then the murder of my brother....His grace has become amazing in a different way. It hasn't been till I've gone through these latest trials that I realized there are different elements of grace. Thanks be to God for His AMAZING GRACE!!!

Happy 4th to you too! Got any plans? We might grill out or something on Sunday. We won't go see any fireworks tonight since I worked last night and I'm just now getting to bed. Hope you are doing well. Don't hear much from you these days!
