BELIEVE IT OR NOT?

The latest news is that James Cameron, who is the man who directed the movie "The Titanic". has found the bones of Jesus Christ. Apparently he claims he has located the lost tomb of Jesus and it proves that Jesus had a child. Before you lose any sleep over this and remember ...

God can not nor will he ever be seen by the natural eye
For we walk by faith not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7

There are two options, you either believe the bible or you believe Mr. Camerson....I choose to believe the word of God.

I heard about this movie briefly yesterday. What bothers me is how many people will believe it...a la Davinci Code. I have acquaintences who would never believe the scriptures but always fall for this bunk.

Dear Janie,
Nice to meet you. I agree a lot of people will believe it, that's why it is so importnat to keep in the word of God. When we stray away we leave ourselves open to junk like that and there are so many flase preachers our there too that are feeding the lost and the saved garbage. I hope you enjoy doing your blog. You and your family are in my prayers.

I know I will favor God's Word over this man's desire to be famous! It just sickens me what the world will do to try to dispose of our Savior!

Cristina, Thanks for letting me comment and it is so nice to meet you. I believe it is like my husband said, the Bibles says in effect if someone comes preaching another Jesus that we have not preached to you, Verse found in 2 Cor.11:4. He said that this man is not preaching the same Jesus that (he, my husband ) tells people about because he knows our Jesus was resurrected and now sits on the right hand of God in Heaven. His bones are not here!! I hope I wrote this in a way that can be understood. Connie from Texas

Hi luvvum,
So right, just another hollywood. The sad part is there are folks gullible enough to believe it, sadly.

Hi Connie,

You are exactly right and more and more we are seeing another gospel presented, in and out of the pulpit. Prayer is needed.

I believe the Word of God. I know in whom I have believed, and am persuaded.

You are absolutely correct. People are trying to disprove Christ's resurrection with this but a discovery 2000 years after the fact cannot disprove a historical fact. This is analagous to a scientist finding a bone/fossil and claiming that it proves the existense of a prehistoric evolutionary man, such as Nebraska Man.

Hi Jonathan,
The sad thing Henry Osbornis believed what he found to be true just like Mr. Camerson. There are so many deceived people out there and so many people out there trying to prove God wrong. Blinded by darkness.

There may come a day when "aliens" come to this Earth and claim that they planted us here many years ago as an experiment and they were watching all the time. They may appear authentic and have "proof" of their claims.

It is during these times (or others like it) that will decide who will live or die by faith and not sight. The whole world(and much of the church) is primed for deception.

Claiming the bones of Jesus and with it denying His divinity is the open spirit of anti-christ and should be denounced as such even if it means we will be ridiculed. Better to be ridiculed by this world while recieving the favor of our Lord than the reverse.

Does it not seem coincidental to us that the challenge to Christianity is progressively centered on the Lord Jesus Himself? Welcome to the last days - Even so, come Lord Jesus!!

Hi Rick,
Luke 21:28 "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

I believe He is setting the stage and we are in the end times. The birth pangs are getting stronger. It is not for us to say when He comes but the word does give us signs and those signs are getting worse and worse.

Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

Like you commented and you can see it, Jesus is the focus. The world despises Him and us for loving Him.

My eyes can not wait to see the coming of the Lord!

You would have thought they could have found it a lot sooner, eh! What is really sad is to hear some "professing" Christians say that it wouldn't matter it it were true.

Jazscat,
Yes isn't that sad, but like you said professing...you wonder sometimes.
