I use to spend time with a lady I met while I was talking care of her sister before she died. Our relation continued on when she moved to a seniors home. She was in a wheelchair since she was around 25-30 because of arthritis, she was 82 when I met her and she ministered to me until she died. She was of such a humble spirit, I miss her so much.

CristinaBaptist Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098324019181081925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27684923.post-71445100504281553202008-11-10T19:34:00.000-08:002008-11-10T19:34:00.000-08:00This is a very powerful hymn and this young man si...This is a very powerful hymn and this young man sings it wonderfully.

Our pastor has instructed our music leaders to choose songs that are God centered and not man centered. It makes a huge difference in our worship.
We sing all old hymns at the nursing home we minister to on sunday afternoon. It is amazing to watch the transformation on the elder saints faces as they recognize and sing them. They minister to us more than we minister to them. Praise be to God!MrsEvenSo...https://www.blogger.com/profile/17815084038087058549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27684923.post-81126465567438254002008-11-10T04:35:00.000-08:002008-11-10T04:35:00.000-08:00Thank you Sarah. Jim and I were thinking of venturing out and putting an ad out there asking if there were others that would like to begin a Sovereign Grace Church, could you please pray about this for us?

The pastor that preaches at the church we have been attending the past year is a lovely man and a good Preacher but he is not really a preacher, teacher and I know he is not a 5 pointer. I guess I am feeling half fed and I need more.
What bothers me a lot too is the music before the service is loud and more geared to younger folks and I feel the music then should be more mellow to prepare you for listening to the message and even the music during service is the same. They throw in an old hymn or two, if we are lucky.

CristinaBaptist Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098324019181081925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27684923.post-75029380603144684132008-11-09T20:35:00.000-08:002008-11-09T20:35:00.000-08:00Before I started going to the OPC, I was going to ...Before I started going to the OPC, I was going to the PCA. I didn't like the PCA...too liberal...at least the one I was in. I bemoaned my problem to Jim at Old Truth and he found for me the church to which I now go. I would have never thought of going to it before. I thought "Orthodox" was somehow related to the Catholic church but it isn't. I would highly recommend you visiting one if there is one by you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27684923.post-19624941164207417602008-11-09T05:58:00.000-08:002008-11-09T05:58:00.000-08:00Hi Sarah,I'm glad you are attending a church that ...Hi Sarah,
I'm glad you are attending a church that feeds you.
